Overview

Liantang is the hometown of Comrade Chenyun, former proletarian revolutionist and one of the first-generation leaders of the Chinese Communist Party. It is also a famous ancient watery Zone town with glorious revolution history and profound cultural background.

Zone Construction

The Zone, a comprehensive industrial and economic Zone with top-grade cabinetmaking industry as its main focus, is the supporting Zone of Qingpu Industrial Park (municipal city level). Domestic and foreign capital is integrated in its economic sector. The total planned area is 7 square kilometers. It is going to be built into a green industrial Zone with high and new-technology industry as its forerunner and modern industry as its main body.
