Power Supply:
    By the end of 2002 the amount of electrical consumers reached 2,420 thousand, installed capacity 1,827 thousand km, and the amount of selling electricity 0.184 billion kWh. There were three substations of 110kv with a capacity of 378 mega-volt-ampere, and 20 substations of 35kv with a capacity of 650mega-volt-amperes. Also the district had 67.4km 110kv high-tension lines, 363.2km 35kv high-tension lines, 96.1km 10kv high-tension lines, and 4542.3km 0.38kv low-tension lines. The number of transformers altogether reached 5051with a capacity of 1422.9 mega-volt-amperes.   

Gas supply:
    By the end of 2002 the artificial gas storage reached 2200 tons, with gas pipe 140.7 km, coal gas volume 5,450 thousand cubic meter and the number of gas consumers 32212. The supply of LPG totaled 13966 tons for 118773 households. Gas and LPG supply covered 99% households of Qingpu. 

Water supply:
    By the end of 2002 the number of running water plants in Qingpu reached 22 with an overall capacity of 506 thousand tons per day, supplying water 88015 thousand tons per year .The average water consumption per capita per day reached 257 liters, within the reach of all residents in all urban and rural areas of Qingpu.
